Eric began his diving career, diving the great lakes and swift rivers of Michigan. After completing his Divemaster in Michigan, he moved to Naples Florida and started the cities only spear fishing charter business. He then moved the business to Key Largo where he could continue to charter underwater hunters and also pursue other dive jobs and his instructors certification. Eric worked as a dive guide for one of Key Largo’s largest dive operations. Daily he guided divers on the local reefs and wrecks of the upper Keys. He also was fortunate enough to be the company’s only “personal penetration guide” for wrecks including, the Spiegel Grove and The Duane. Equal to his passion for wrecks is his passion for sharks. Eric worked for a nonprofit organization, tracking and tagging nurse sharks in the Keys and is heavily involved in the protection of these animals. He has dove with Great Whites, Hammerheads, Tigers and bulls to name a few. After receiving his Master scuba trainer certification, Eric made his way back to Michigan to share his passion and knowledge and dive his beloved wrecks of the Great Lakes. |
